Oh My! Wall Art was born out of pure frustration!
We had just built our huge forever home - the place we’d raise our four girls in, the sanctuary we’d slowly grow old in together, the money pit we’d never pay off.
I absolutely loved our new home but it had stretched us to the two-minute-noodle-limits ….. and now it needed to be decorated!
With four young girl’s rooms to style I was up against it, there were big sparkling white walls
everywhere – framed posters just would not cut it.
I started searching for wallpaper, specifically peel and stick removable wallpaper cause we all know these kiddos change their ‘fave’ thing quicker than Usain doing his PB.
I found some great local companies, eagerly selected my patterns, measured my walls with my daughters 30cm school ruler (not for the faint hearted), input all my information into their fancy pants calculators and then promptly had a freakin’ heart attack!
$1000 for one wall, $4000 to do all four of my girls’ room. Oh, hell no! That is a mini vacation right there, I wasn’t putting a family vacation on my walls.
I searched for a better solution, a more affordable solution – nothing, nuda, zip.
Well as they say, if you cannot beat them join! As soon as I realised there was a HUGE gap in the market for a product to help people, just like me, decorate their homes in an affordable, fun and easy way I started Oh My! Wall Art and have not looked back.
